Good Evening Softball Families!
We are excited to announce that registration for our Lexington Girls Fall Softball program begins 7/1! Head over to www.lgssc.com and register early. The cost of registration is $85. Registration will include a jersey, belt and socks. (Pants will not be provided) Girls ages 3-18 years old are eligible to participate, so help us spread the word and make this our most successful season ever! If you would like to try on a jersey for size or if you need assistance with online registration please contact any of our board members.
Some information about our Fall Season: ALL new and returning players must plan on assessing for Fall Ball. If a player cannot make assessments they will still placed on a team, but has a "hat pick" Assessments are scheduled for the evenings of August 21st and 22nd and practices would then begin the week of August 28th. Please see below for important dates for the Fall Schedule.
To reiterate our COUNTY AGE DIVISIONS, our age divisions will now be: 3U for 3 year olds; 6U for 4-6 year olds; 8U for 7 and 8 year olds; 10U for 9 and 10 year olds; 12U for 11 and 12 year olds; 14U for 13 and 14 year olds; and 18U for 15-18 year olds. All ages are determined by age as of January 1st per softball regulations. You MUST be at least 15 to play in the 18U league. There will not be permissions granted to move up into the 18U division.
Our Fall Ball registration will begin with the early bird special on July 1st through July 23rd and then Open Registration will begin July 23rd through August 11th. Assessments will be held on August 21st and 22nd. Coaches Draft will be on August 25th with practices beginning August 28th. . Last day of games will be Thursday, October 26th with our End of Year tournament on November 4th. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THESE DATES SO THAT YOU CAN PLAN FOR THESE.
