Board appoints Terry Davis to First Vice President.


(Lexington, SC, October 23, 2017 ) – The Lexington Girls’ Softball Board of Directors announced today that Terry Davis has been appointed to the position of First Vice President of Lexington Girls’ Softball, effective October 20, 2017.

Terry Davis has been a part of LGS for more than nine seasons as a coach, parent, and volunteer. Davis has a strong commitment and dedication to the league. He is always willing to step up and help as a coach for any age group. As a coach, Davis teaches his players commitment, leadership and instills a strong work ethic. Davis even takes time to provide players with additional non-scheduled practice time to help players improve their game. Davis is excited to start his new role as First V.P.

The First Vice President seat became open after former First V.P., Burnie Flake became President of LGS after the resignation of former President Kristina Douglas.

The First Vice President seat is up for reelection after the 2018 spring season.

LGS is a non-profit entity whose mission is to teach young girls the game of softball. We promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, self-esteem, and development of athletic skills. Lexington Girls Softball is proud to be the premier softball league in Lexington County.
